Mommy Must Have

I have so many friends who are expecting, or even on baby #2. I just got into the blogging scene less than a year ago, and have learned about so many different products! I wanted to take the time to share with you a mommy must have, that should be on everyone’s wish list for those expecting.

For those of you who have not seen a DockATot pop up on their Instagram newsfeed, let me have the pleasure in breaking down what exactly it is.

I am featuring the DockATot Grand, with a cover. The cover is called Lush & Fern and can be purchased here. Just to be clear, the cover is sold separately from the actual DockATot itself. But I promise you it is a good investment, because in all honesty when my son was potty-training, we had a few accidents in ours with the original cover it comes with.

The DockATot is perfect because it is so light and easy to take with you for travel, to grandma’s house, and even just around your own house. It’s perfect for supervised tummy time, bonding with baby, changing diaper, co-sleeping, bed transitioning (Hallelujah!) and playing. They sell Toy Archs that have attachments for little hanging toys so that baby can play while in their DockATot. Note to self, remember this on baby #2.

So now, on to the top 3 reasons I swear that a DockATot is the best investment you will ever make, or at least on your top 5.

1. Because of it’s design, it reinvents the womb. I know when we went from co-sleeping to a toddler bed, we were in for a few hard nights. The DockATot design helps keep your baby snuggled, practically reinventing the womb.
2. It is so easy to clean, change cover, and is so lightweight that you can load it up in a car, or on an airplane with a travel case to take anywhere you want.
3. It made me feel at ease. Toddler beds or at least the one we chose, only had half side railings. Our DockATot is paced perfectly into the toddler bed. I feel safe knowing Julian can’t just easily roll out of bed at night and onto the floor like he would without a DockATot. Talk about a sense of peace.
